Andy Davis DipFD – Managing Director
Andy’s role, as Managing Director of Firecomply Ltd, covers commercial, contract & project management and business development.
Andy has 30 years’ experience in commercial, marketing and project management. Prior to running his own consultancy business, supporting SMEs looking to work within the social housing & public sector with tender and business consultancy, he worked for a number of blue-chip companies including Wilkinson Sword, McVities and Georgia-Pacific.
He has worked within the fire safety sector for the past five years, finding & winning tender opportunities within the social housing / public sectors and subsequently overseeing contract planning and delivery. Contracts include Home Group, LB Camden, LB Hammersmith & Fulham, Royal Botanical Gardens – Kew, Derbyshire Police, Norfolk & Suffolk Police and securing places on the Procurement for Housing and South East Consortium Framework Agreements.
John Hubbard GIFireE DipFD– Director
John has 30-years’ experience within South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, 11 years as an Operational Fire Officer and 19 years as Fire Safety Officer before retiring from the Service in 2012.
John has worked extensively across the UK undertaking Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Surveys & Compartmentation Surveys within a variety of public and private sector settings including the social housing, health care, education, Blue Light, local authority, commercial and industrial sectors.
In order to provide our clients with the highest standard of service we only employ former fire service officers with the correct qualifications and experience. We have a great team across the UK and can offer specialist fire safety help at almost any level. We appreciate that you know your business best so our expertise and down-to-earth approach means we will work directly with you to identify the lowest “total cost” compliant fire safety solution for you!

Fire safety/enforcement experience
Training through the Fire Service College at Morton-in-Marsh
Competent Microsoft Office skill level (Excel and Word)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a smart and presentable appearance;
The appropriate level of professional indemnity and public liability insurance
Membership of an independent professional accreditation body**
Valid UK driving licence and a roadworthy vehicle with valid insurance and MOT (if applicable).
